What we collect on this website, why, and the choices you have — in plain language.

Who we are
This website, apcachandigarh.com, is run by APCA Chandigarh, the Mohali academy of the Academy of Pastry & Culinary Arts (“APCA”, “we”, “us”).
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry: your name, phone number, email address, city, the course you are interested in, when you would like to start and any message you write. We also record the date and time, your IP address and browser details to protect the form from spam.
- How you found us: with your enquiry we store the page you first landed on, the website that referred you (for example a search engine or social network) and any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as
utm_source). This tells us which of our activities help people find APCA. - Site usage statistics: we count page views, referring websites, campaigns, device type and approximate location (country and city) using Independent Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that runs on our own website, does not use cookies and does not share data with third parties.
Cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum:
apca_consentremembers your choice on the cookie notice (6 months).apca_srcremembers how you first found the site so it can be attached to an enquiry (90 days). It is only stored as a cookie if you click “Accept”; otherwise it lasts only until you close the browser tab.- If we switch on Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity (to understand how pages are used, including anonymised click and scroll recordings), they set their own cookies — and they load only after you click “Accept”.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and tell you about courses, fees, intake dates, open days and the opening of the Mohali academy.
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, so we can improve the website.
- To keep the website and forms secure.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website (such as our hosting provider) and, if you ask about a programme run with another APCA academy, with that academy’s admissions team.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and keep you updated about the Mohali academy. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Job applications
When you apply for a job at APCA Chandigarh we collect what you send us in the application form: your name, phone / WhatsApp number, email, current city, experience, notice period, FSSAI status, your CV, and any cover letter, portfolio files or links you choose to add. We also note how you found the job (for example a shared link).
We use this information only for recruitment at APCA Chandigarh. Applications and files are stored securely on our website and are seen only by the people involved in hiring. We keep applications for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless you agree to us keeping them longer. To ask us to delete your application sooner, email apca.chandigarh@apcaindia.com.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, have it erased, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. You can also raise a grievance with us. To do any of these, email apca.chandigarh@apcaindia.com (or send us a message through the enquiry form) with “Privacy” in your message, and we will respond.
Changes
We will update this page if the way we handle information changes — for example when the Mohali campus opens or when we add new tools.
